A rare old Lakota Sioux medicine bag beaded on hide with sinew and not thread (so called brain tanned deer hide).
With red dyed color deer hair in metal cones.
This bag dates from approx. the 1900s.
The condition of the bag is good for its age. As far as I can see, there are no damages. All beads there. The leather is slightly dry, which is normal for the age.
A true sought after museums collectible.
Comes from my own family collection.
