Two bottles of Viña Gravonia vintage 2013 one bottle of Viña Gravonia vintage 2014 of the Bodegas López Heredia Viña Tondonia. Viña Gravonia wines come from the estate called Viña Zaconia, in reference to the term from which it comes. Historically these wines were called Viña Zaconia, when they were made as sweet wines from botritys cinerea, just as they were called Sauternia in clear reference to the French Sauternes. This farm is located 200 meters from the winery in a straight line and close to the banks of the Ebro River and the average age of the vineyard is 45 years. The orientation of the plantation is South. The soils are poor and gravelly slopes, we could rather describe them as “aridisols”, with a loose, stony structure where the roots penetrate more easily, obtaining berries that are balanced in their biological composition and harmonious and complete ripening. They are white, a color that determines the tone of the varieties, benefiting, in this case, the white ones.
