A lot of 4 bottles which are quite strange.
1. Jack of Spades ( het Nest)- 8% alc. - started in 2000 with a group of beer lovers and they started brewing beer as a hobby. Later they received a 3 rd price from Holland as hobby brewers. Since 2015 they became professional brewers and this Jack of Spades is still available. Later their came several other types in the market.
2. Kanunnik Tripel ( Wilderen) - 8.2% alc. Is made from 4 types of grain and refermented in the bottle and is a full bodied & spicy beer. It comes from a high-tech craft brewery, still the old recipes are the bse of their brewing proces.
3. Paix Dieu = Peace of God!! ( Caulier) - 10% alc. It is a heavy quality beer from this brewery . Take time to enjoy it with friends and a good meal. Have the patience to store it till early 2026…than you will be surprised how it is presented in nose and taste!
4. Winterbinkske ( Kerkom brewery) - 13% alc.!!! It is a struggle to store this bottle till 2028 before opening it. A strong and dark beer. The best to enjoy it in… Winter season with company of a good meal. It is a limited edition of 2023.

Inderdaad en te lang ondergewaardeerd ten opzichte van andere Speyside distilleries. Heb ooit voor Diageo gewerkt en na de fusie vanuit United Distillers meegegaan met de fusie in Nederland. Pas daar Knockando mogen ontdekken mede dankzij bezoekjes in Schotland met de company. Het was, gezien de portfolio van Diageo NOOIT belangrijk dat het in NL moest groeien. Markten als Frankrijk en Spanje waren belangrijker met veel meer Whisky consumenten dan NL.. grote retailers met daardoor scherpere prijzen in die landen. Mocht je er ooit zijn en je treft er ‘ oude stock aan’ in minder bekende streken, kan de prijs denk ik erg aangenaam zijn. Njonja it!
