A rare opportunity to own a genuine antique handmade wool room size Turkmen Beshir wool rug circa 1880 measuring 320 x 160 cm (10.4 x 5.2 ft ). A repetitive geometric and floral design in stunning antique red / pink field surrounded with the similar bands of inner and outer borders. Rug has been professionally cleaned and washed with both end kilims remarkably well preserved, some fading concentrated in one corner as well as areas of wear commensurate with the age in places, otherwise a very attractive piece which in my opinion a collectable piece.
