Ferenc Medgyessy is one of Hungary's best-known sculptors, and there are many of his public sculptures throughout the country.
He also produced several well-known small sculptures, among which one of the most famous is the statue of the Dancer, which he designed in 1923.
Made in three sizes: 160cm, 100cm and 40cm, this statue is the smallest 40cm version.
A one-meter version is also exhibited in the Hungarian National Gallery. The statue is well-crafted and well-proportioned.
This statue could have been made around the 1930s-40s.

The height of the statue is 40,5 cm.
Length: 20 cm
Depth: 11 cm

The statue is in good condition, not broken.
