A breathtakingly beautiful and exceptionally large porcelain sculpture made by Royal Dux in Bohamia ca. 1920. It represents a farming couple taking a short break to say prayers. An exceptional piece sculpted with great realism and amazing details, painted with beautiful light blue pastel colours.
Marked with the Pink triangle with E used from 1912 and with the model number.
A very large and heavy piece, that required a great amount of technical and artistic skills to create.
47 cm high
30 X 20 cm
In good condition, it has a few painted areas, most likely old discoloured restorations of manufacturing faults. It has been valued and cherished for over a century, and would become a jewel of any collection.
