It is very rare for two turtles to be in the same matrix. The fossil was beautifully cleaned and all are 100% real, not a single part has been repaired. The texture of the bones is clearly displayed.
This fossil is from an old collector. The turtles are 31 and 22 cm measured in a straight line from the tip of the snout to the very end of the tail.
Manchurochelys is an extinct genus of turtle in the order Paracryptodira. It existed during the early Cretaceous.
