- A 1976 earliest Holland Press (48 years young) of The Eagles’ legendary album ‘Hotel California’, released on Asylum Records AS 53 051 with first press matrix runouts 7E-1084-A/7E-1084-B, inner picture gatefold sleeve with inner spread hotel lobby photo and the lyrics of the track ‘Hotel California’, on very rare limited edition green vinyl, with poster and original inner sleeve. Totally complete! The vinyl is pressed in Holland, the cover in Germany. Cover: Excellent ! - Vinyl: Near Mint ! Waw!
‘Hotel California’ was an immediate commercial success and won several awards, such as ‘Record of the Year’. It won 26 times platinum (!). It’s the band’s first album with exceptional guitarist Joe Walsh. The title track is considered one of the greatest rock songs of all time. It’s at number 37 at Rolling Stone’s list of the ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time’. The Los Angeles Times called the album ‘a legitimate rock masterpiece’.
