This is the first Stereo recording of Vivaldi's FOUR SEASONS, made in 1959. The chamber orchestra I MUSICI was formed in 1951 and is still in existence today.
The record is packaged in a laminated gatefold-hardcover sleeve attached to a 4 page booklet with pictures, text (in German only) and musical examples. The pictures depicting the seasons on the record cover come from the Grimani Breviary of 1515.
The laminated front cover and the pages of the booklet show virtually no signs of wear (EX). The rear cover is not laminated and I rate it as VG+. The spine of the record has no damage (EX).
The vinyl is EX, with silent surfaces and no visible traces.
The record itself is in a double plastic inner sleeve.
The logo "Hi-Fi Stereo" is shown on both cover and record labels, indicating that this is the first pressing of this recording. .
