1904 Málaga Amoroso, Larios - 馬拉加 Vino Generoso - 1 瓶子（0.72L）

Stored in private cellar up to today in outstanding conditions: very high filling level (check detailed pictures), natural cork, color, complete intact metal capsule, tax stamps, readable label, no leakage. Fully mature and therefore drinking well now, or cellar for next 50 to 100 years.
Wine brought directly from the racks of the private cellar of a retired wine distributor from Malaga in 2016.

This is an extremely rare and unique bottle of a 120 years-old Malaga specialty "Vino Trasañejo Legítimo de los Montes de Málaga". Vinified from the single vintage of 1904 and aged in cask until mid-50s, about 50 years, when it was bottled according to the tax seals printed with the armorial achievement of Spain used by Franco dictatorship in this decade. It was supposed to be bottled in 1910 and exported exclusively to Argentina: the bottle size printed on the label was 720cm3 (0.72L) - the unit of measure used in the early 20th century. The wine was never placed on the market by Larios winery and just a few bottles were reserved for company commitments or given to loyal clients.

Not much information about the wine is currently available. It is supposed to be a blend of pre-phylloxera local grapes from old vineyards that survived the plague. The wine is concentrated by evaporation and levels of acidity and alcohol initially dipped and then slowly raised, enabling the wine to resist spoilage as it gradually oxidizes. This is a wine to cellar for decades!
