It is in fact one of the few white wines known all over the world, and is now considered a flag, not only of the winery, but of the whole Friuli. Terre Alte is a Friulian wine that comes from a skilful blend where we find Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Friulano. Three vines that grow with their roots in a marly territory rich in sandstone, of Eocene origin. The grapes, after harvesting, are destemmed and macerated for a short period. Then it proceeds with a light pressing, and Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon ferment at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, while Friulano ferments alcoholically in small French oak barrels
