◆Vintage Army Officer's Cap Size: 24×20×10 cm Weight: 150g There are Japanese Army officer's caps. It was used by soldiers during the war. The color and shape of the fabric of the caps indicate that they are from around World War I, rather than World War II, i.e., circa 1915. One of the caps has the brim broken off. Both caps have holes and stains on the front fabric. The underside is clean. The colors of the yellow and blue fabric are bright and very attractive. The name of the owner of the cap and the name of the company that manufactured the cap. These are housed in a special wooden box. The lid of the wooden box is slightly cracked. Look at the Japanese on the back side of the lid. "Taisho 15 大正十五年,” which translates to ”1926.” It says that the owner of the caps retired from the army at this time. His service was in Korea. The name of the unit to which he belonged is also written. These deserve high interest, although some damage is visible. Carefully packaged and shipped from Japan to overseas.
