PLEASE SEE IMAGES AS THESE CONSTITUTE PART OF THE CONDITION REPORT. The back came off in transit. It is not possible to press fit by hand. Any watch repairer, or one to preplaces watch batteries will have a watch press to place it properly for little or no cost. At 50 euros a gram 18kt scrap gold, plus the value of the mechanism if sold separately. You have not really overpaid.
