This is a non-jointed type. This is a very rare and stylish shakuhachi with lacquer that includes glitter applied to the tip.
This shakuhachi flute bears the workshop's brand, but unfortunately, I cannot discern what it says.
Dimensions: 49 × 3 × 3.5 cm
(Diameter at the thickest part is 5.5 cm)

Shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese flute with a long, end-blown design, crafted from bamboo. Introduced to Japan from China in the 7th century, it reached its zenith during the Edo period (17th-18th century). While traditionally made from bamboo, modern versions are also available in ABS and hardwoods. Historically, it was utilized by the monks of the Fuke sect of Zen Buddhism in the practice of suizen. Playing it is possible, but proficiency requires proper training and practice.
I can't play it, so I haven't tested it.
Good condition.
The joint at the connection point is a bit loose (but not to the extent that it will come apart).
There may be other small scratches and dirt caused by age. Please refer to the image.
For a shakuhachi of this era, the condition is considered to be good.
