Yamanaka Shikanosuke Yukimori
This is a figurine of Yamanaka Shikanosuke Yukimori, a warrior in the Warring States period.
Yamanaka Shikanosuke was a military commander in the San-in region from the Sengoku period to the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
Along with Tachihara Hisatsuna and Kumagai Shin'emon, he was one of the “three outstanding Amago warriors” and is said to have been a man of outstanding valor. He was the first of the “Ten Braves of Amago” and is famous for an anecdote in which he prayed to the crescent moon, “Grant me seven hardships and eight sufferings,” in order to revive the Amago family.
