Extremely Rare Guere (We) Hunter Mask with Elephant Trunk Nose, Second Half of the 20th Century, Ivory Coast/Liberia

Adornments: It is adorned with cowrie shells, symbolizing wealth and spiritual protection, and a "beard" made of claw-like wooden elements, representing strength and aggression. These materials enhance the mask's spiritual significance and visual complexity.
Materials: The mask is made from wood and fabric embellishments adorned with cowrie shells, showcasing traditional We (Guere) craftsmanship.
