Two complete sets with the most popular wartime stamps and postcards in Ukraine.
One limited edition postage set featured mural by Banksy, which was created on one of the destroyed civilian buildings in city of Borodyanka, Kyiv region. The graffiti depicts a person who looks like Russian President Vladimir Putin being defeated in judo by a small boy.
In the lower left corner of the stamp are six letters - a well-known obscene phrase about the Russian leader - " ПТН ПНХ" (FCK PTN)
Banksy's work is called a metaphor for Ukrainian resistance to Russian aggression. It symbolizes the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against Russia for their independence and freedom.
In total, this world-famous artist left 7 of his graffiti during the war in Ukraine.
Another stamps and postcard commemorating the destruction of the flagship of Black Sea Fleet cruiser “Moskva” by Ukrainian army.
It was this flagship of the Russian fleet that attacked the small garrison of the Ukrainian Snake island. But later it was sunk by the Ukrainian army, after which the Snake Island was liberated. It was the first major victory of the Ukrainian army, which inspired Ukrainians to continue fighting.
This postage stamp was recognized as the best stamp in the world in 2022.
