Thanks for your feedback. I understand that the amount of plastic is a bit much. Unfortunately it is necessary to use 4 layers of bubble wrap to avoid shipping damage. This is based on my experience in shipping chairs. Feel free to recycle the high quality bubble wrap. Best regards, Bianca
