Good Very Fine condition. Superb portrait, fine style. Very rare first issue from A.D. 139
This coin is part of Hadrian's Travel series throughout the Roman Empire. His tours apparently served to inspect the borders of the empire which had experienced a significant expansion under Trajan. Italia all though did not have any boarders or outposts and was more likely to have been used as start or return point of the travel series.
