2015 Quinta da Romaneira Unfiltered Late Bottled Vintage Port 6 x 0.75L
DESCRIPTION
Romaneira is one of the largest properties in the region, with a total of 412 hectares and 3 kilometers of riverfront on the Douro River. The vines are planted on terraces on the steep slopes of the property. With many valleys and headlands, Romaneira contains diverse microclimates and several slopes exposed to the southeast, south and southwest. Several Romaneira wines are site-specific and come from small, individual plots within the Quinta. Other wines such as Dona Clara or Reserva come from various locations throughout the Quinta, reflecting the complexity and diversity of the entire vineyard. All of our wines are made exclusively from grapes from our vineyard, a distinctive feature of Quinta da Romaneira wines.
WINEMAKER: Leonor Sequeira.

VINIFICATION
The grapes were trodden and fermented in the Quinta's traditional mills, where disciplined and intense treading was essential for a good final result. The entire batch was aged in used chestnut and oak barrels with Port wine for a period of 60 months.
TASTING NOTES
The powerful primary fruits of this wine begin to evolve with age, making it a young and accessible LBV, ready to drink now, but capable of aging and developing over a few years.
SERVING
Ideally served as an accompaniment to cheese, desserts, or on its own at the end of a meal. This wine is unfiltered and will continue to develop in the bottle. As a result, a slight deposit may develop, which is why decantation is recommended. Serve between 17ºC and 18ºC.
