Rare marked cloisonné dragon censer Cheng Hua mark – China
On offer is a rare and large cloisonné bronze censer made in very high quality, and marked with a 4 character mark Cheng Hua. It has a central décor of a stylized dragon with a flaming pearl. Very fine inlay technique in which very thin wires have been used. Around 2 dragons depicted in the same fine technique! At the back side a large 4 character mark on a blue ground. An uncommon very rare version, in larger size! Provenance: K. L. antiques Netherlands and Ye Hua Chinese art.
Size: This censer measures 21cm across and 6,5cm in height.
Condition: Very good used condition. Traces of use and aging. Slightly warped. 2 small touch-up spots. Further good!
