Fossil turtle Stylemys Nebrascensis measuring 25 cm in length and 21 cm large. The carapace (top shell) features considerable scutes with sharp details. Fossil tortoises were common in White River Formation in Wyoming. This example is very attractive with a red colour oh white matrix. Carapace il complete at 92%. Plastron on the back is not complete. 0n front side could be seen 2 bones of the turtle inside the carapace. Carapace was frail so protective glue was put on it. item was found broken into 2 pieces reglued together. it' a very interesting item, with sharp details.
