Description
"Lucky Manrai, please come again. An inviting cat that wishes you prosperity."
This is an original hand-drawn work by ink calligrapher Hajime Okamoto.
This is a mini folding screen with a wooden frame designed in the shape of a two-fold folding screen that can be folded.
The screen is covered with handmade Japanese paper sliding doors containing gold sand.
This is a ``Daruma hugging cat'' hand-painted directly on the washi paper.
In Japan, there are various "lucky things" that are said to bring good luck.
Each one has its own legend, and the hearts of those who wish for good fortune reside there.
Bodhidharma is believed to ward off illness and misfortune, while maneki-neko (maneki-neko) is a lucky charm that is believed to bring prosperity in business and an abundance of customers.
The beckoning cat is also popular in foreign countries, where it is called the "welcome cat" or "lucky cat," and its presence is increasing.
The storage case is attached.
