Icon of Christ Pantocrator and the Four Evangelists, Hand Painted.
Omnipotent or Pantocrator (Greek: παντοκρατωρ, El Shaddai - omnipotent) is the earliest and main iconographic image of Christ in the Christian East, which represents the Savior as the Heavenly King and Judge.
Jesus Almighty is depicted frontally, and the four evangelists are visible in the four corners.
Cherubim can also be seen around the image of Jesus.
The Savior's right hand is raised in blessing. In His left hand He holds a Gospel. A nimbus with a cross painted in it frames the face of Christos, and within or near it are the letters IC and XC, representing the Christogram ICXC (Jesus Christ).
This image traditionally occupies the space of the central dome of the Orthodox church.
