Two 3-branched gilded bronze candelabra
These beautiful bronze candelabras are made in the Rococo style, which first flourished in France during the period of Louis XV (1715-1774). Candelabras are characteristic of Rococo, being composed of elegant, organic, sinuous and asymmetrical forms.
Each candelabra has three scrolled foliated arms supporting foliated trays and capitals with petal sconces. These coats of arms emerge from stems that are composed of intertwined stylized acanthus leaves. The candelabras stand on stands in the form of a cartouche, on twisted legs.
