A rare Chinese Yixing clay tea-pot in modelled as a tree trunk and it's cover. China, late Qing dynasty. Item preserved in perfect condition, cover restored. Finely potted as a tree trunk with cut branches on sides, with an oval ear and S-shaped spout. Decorated with blossoming branches with yellow flowers. Stamped with a round maker’s marks to the base. Similar decor to the cover. Daylight pictures included. Dimensions: total height – c. 9,7 cm; width (with spout and ear) – c. 18,2 cm, depth – 9,2 cm. Weight - 401 g.
