This is a very rare collectible Revell Haunebu II, Flying Saucer aka "UFO" modell. This modell was discountinued due to historical unaccuracy.
The toy, which had been produced by German model manufacturers Revell GmbH, was criticised for its inaccuracy and glorification of the Nazi regime.
The item had also been given the name 'Haunebu II' which is a name associated with a conspiracy theory about the secret development of UFOs by the Nazis.
In response, Revell agreed with the historian and said that it is "absolutely justified" that it has been discontinued.
A spokesperson from the company said:
"The toy" it is, in fact, a legendary, extraordinary aircraft which cannot be proven in terms of existence.
Unfortunately, our product description does not adequately express this and we apologise for it.
They have also revealed that they will be conducting an investigation as to how the item was ever approved in the first place.
