Nice and good 1968 first-generation Fiat 124 Coupe (AC) rally-ready. One of the few Fiat 124 coupés in the Netherlands and Europe. The car was delivered on 30 June 1968 in Switzerland and came to the Netherlands in 1999. The previous owner used the car for the Tulip Rally and it was modified with time period correct things for that purpose. So the car has Marelli electronic ignition, a modified manifold and an Abarth exhaust with a beautiful sound. There is also an electric emergency switch installed in the cabin and the car has (non-original) sports seats, a right side mirror and a set of spotlights. The engine, transmission and driveshaft have been overhauled in the past. The Fiat has been repainted in the beautiful (original) red colour. The chrome looks very good, except for the edge of one headlight. The rims are good and original, the tyres relatively new. It is a picture-perfect car. The interior is good and complete. However, the dashboard edge is cracked. The headliner and interior upholstery are good. Beautiful, well-working Blaupunkt Frankfurt stereo car radio. The car has always been well maintained, unfortunately I do not have a booklet with it. It also drives great with 5-speed transmission and disc brakes all round.
