Some tears and wears to original golden amber varnish, two small repaired cracks to the left f-hole.
Description:
Good quality high to medium grained spruce was chosen for the top, and the maple of the two pieces back with beautiful narrow grain is strongly flamed. Narrow flamed sides, neck and scroll. The double purfling after Maggini is a tasteful work of good craftsmanship, just as the shining, golden brown reddish varnish. Old ebony set up, old Aubert bridge and Dominant strings, the violin is ready to play. The whole length of the violin is 592 mm and the back 366 mm.
