A finely crafted antique Arts & Crafts mahogany serving tray, featuring a deeply carved relief design of intertwining fruiting branches, leaves, and stems. The composition is dominated by rounded fruit forms, possibly apples or pomegranates, nestled among broad, veined leaves, creating a richly organic pattern. The surface is enhanced with a textured stippled background, contrasting with the smooth, polished high-relief carving.
The tray is bordered by a raised, scalloped gallery with serpentine edges; the base is solid and smoothly finished, with visible aged patina and wear consistent with use.
