The exterior quilted leather remains clean throughout with some natural signs of use and small marks. There is only very light rubbing on the base corners, and they still look good. The hardware is bright and shiny with only very light scratches that are not too noticeable. The strap is looking good. The interior leather is clean with light scratches and signs of use. The buckle closure functions properly.
Overall still a great vintage Matelasse from Chanel.
