Frosted Opaque Glass with Swirl and Ruffled Edge. Old glass with air bubbles entrapped in the glass. The socket and fixture are brass. Note that a same type of glass lampshade is present at the house of Claude Monet in Giverny: in the bedroom of Monet’s stepdaughter, Blanche Hoschedé. Two pictures of this bedroom in Giverny are at the end of the set of pictures of this lot (just to give an impression). - Wall Lamp Shade, 1910-1920, Art Nouveau, France The lamp glass shade is frosted. Old glass with air bubbles entrapped in the glass. The brass frame is decorated with an acanthus leave and dates from the 2nd half 20th century. The light bulbs are not included in this lot: it is to demonstrate that electricity wiring is in good working condition. These B22 bulbs are easily found for sale at (internet) stores. These two Decorative Lamps add a perfect detail to every interior.
