Size: Dia14.8cm H2.8cm *古伊万里  In fact, Ko-Imari refers to porcelain Arita ware produced in the Arita region during the Edo period. Ko-Imari was Arita-yaki of the Edo period, but in fact, pottery was still being made in Imari at that time. That is Nabeshima-yaki, which was the official kiln of the Hizen domain. The Nabeshima family, which ruled the Hizen domain, was the origin of the name. While Arita-yaki was a trade item, Nabeshima-yaki was a gift to the shogun and the imperial court.
