After a model by Antonio Canova, a superbly modeled unglazed porcelain anatomical study of two wrestlers, measuring circa 23cm in length and weighing 964g. Marked to the underside with imprssed maker´s mark of Katzhütte, a mark used from 1914 - 1945.
Condition: Hairline to one wrestler´s ankle, otherwise good. Minor wear commensurate with age.
