"n 1983, the Bretón family together with a group of Rioja businessmen founded Bodegas Bretón. That same year, construction began on the winery located on the outskirts of Logroño, where two years later, in 1985, the first harvest was produced. In 2003, new facilities were officially inaugurated in Navarrete where the corporate headquarters and production activity are currently located."
