Okimono statue is japanese works of art that back to the Edo period (1615-1868) but gained popularity in the Meiji period,

this statuette shows a girl carrying a basket on her back, and under her arm is a bundle of wood tied by a string, in her right hand she has an object like a stick
the right leg bent inwards, denotes the fact that the statuette is represented walking
the pedestal is one in the shape of a flower with 6 petals
the girl is wearing sandals
Dimensions: 29 cm H x 8,5 cm diameter base
Weight:1690 grams
Condition: need restoration ( the head is still fixed, but after consultation it seems that it was dropped and put back in place, but it doesn't have exactly good stability, so with a little restoration it can regain a new life)
