Wonderful Chinese Gilt Imari "Lotus pond" plate, QIANLONG period.
Great composition of a lotus pond with underglaze blue lotus flowers and well preserved gilt and orange/red enamel tones among butterflies.
The central nicely handpainted pond scene is surrounded by double circles, lotus petals cartouches and a frieze made of underglaze blue lotus flowers thinly decorated with red gilt designs in front. Double circle at the back too with some additional floral designs.
Well balanced, very good use of space, bright enamels & very well preserved gilt, all nicely handpainted for an unusual & very creative pattern.

Courier: Very cautiously packed and secured inside a professional parcel (double layer carton box, item wrapped inside small and large bubbles, well positionned in the center of the parcel and properly blocked by polystyrene flocks, fragile sticker all over the parcel).
