A reticulated porcelain hexagonal hat stand, measuring circa 26,5cm in height and weighing 1246g, decorated in polychrome enamels to depict a magpie on a blossoming branch. Signed by the author and dated autumn of Bing Sheng year (1896). Manufacturer´s mark to the underside 如意轩作 Ru Yi Xuan, stamped in iron red. Condition: A few small (firing) cracks to one panel of the body, see pictures. Very minor fritting, minor wear commensurate with age.
