A very beautiful Chinese hand painted lamp. Beautiful golden tones and flowery pattern, a Chinese scene in the center part. The base is in wood. It was probably a vase mounted as a lamp.
There are no obvious signs of ageing, a couple of marks on the wood but all in very good condition.
The lampshade has been replaced and it is now a brand new one made of fabric with a slight sheen and golden tones inside. Fitting is modern E27 with European plug and a switch on and off button.
