Solid bronze wall plate from the German sculptor Toni Stadler (1888-1982) Casted in a beautiful Art Deco style. This rare bronze plaque comes from a German private collection. Signed STADLER Period: 1920's Germany Weight: 5,25 Kg heavy quality. Dimensions: H28cm x W12cm Toni Stadler (5 September 1888 – 5 April 1982) was a German sculptor. Stadler was the son of the Austrian landscape painter Anton von Stadler (co-founder of the Munich Secession). He studied at the Königliche Kunstgewerbeschule München from 1906 to 1909 and worked in the studio of the sculptor August Gaul in Berlin from 1909 to 1911. No cracks, chipping or dents. In an excellent -near mint- original condition. A wonderful addition to both a classic and a modern interior.
