Rosebank closed in 1993 but has recently been acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers, who plan to revive this classic lost distillery in the near future.
This whisky is part of Murray McDavid's Mission Gold label. Murray McDavid is an independent bottler who often experiments with wine casks. The whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2011 from a single bourbon cask. One of 270 bottles.
