Here is a very original and quite stunning azurite specimen, most probably from Morenci, Arizona! Please note however that the locality is not 100% sure.
The specimen displays super lustrous stars of azurite forming a concretion that seems to pseudomorphically replace a sheet of native copper (?). Green chrysocolla also occurs throughout the specimen and brings some different shades of blue.
