Bulul are the best known of Ifugao figurative sculptures and usually take the form of either a standing or seated figure. They are carved from a single piece of wood and generally exhibit a stylised and geometric rendering of the human body. This standing figures has his hands hanging beside the body and has a strong appearance.
Made of hard wood and in tribal used condition as pictured, no restorations. The wood has some holes due weather and natural use of placing the statue in the rice fields.
