Margarita Rangelova - 雕塑, DUMA - 30 cm - 瓷

Knitted textile pattern is carefully dipped and hung in a specific cylindrical shape. Once the porcelain sets, the pieces are fired in a kiln, where the textile burns away, leaving behind only the imprint of its texture.

Observing an urgent conversation between materials, with each piece carrying a unique voice. Guided by inspiration from nature and a deep urge to work with natural materials, the process explores a dialogue between porcelain and knitted textiles.

As the maker-facilitator, I allow intricate conversations between the distinct materials to unfold organically, consciously embracing the unpredictability of the process. Each resulting piece becomes a storyteller, carrying its own unique narrative.
