"Vine" is a sculptural necklace made from waxed copper tubes and glazed porcelain elements. It is the first of 3 jewellery pieces born from the friendship and collaboration between ceramicist Margarita Rangelova and metalsmith Marta Moskova. In this project the two explored the unity and contrast between their materials and sought to create a complementary merge between them through a series of sculptural, yet functional necklaces. “Vine” hugs the body resembling a twisted climbing plant, suggesting an unconventional way to wear a necklace. A piece created in harmony with the body.
