For sale is this rare Leitz Hektor 7,3cm 1,9 lens from 1937 (only 500 produced that year) in good and fully functional condition.

The lens its infamous for its considering the time period very wide maximum aperture of 1,9.
For me it is by far the most beautiful lens I have held in my hands. The black paint brass body shows a beautiful patina and the overall build quality seems unmatched.
The focal length of 73mm together with the 1,9 aperture makes an in credible portrait lens. It produces organic dream like images. Due to the very versatile M39 lens mount, the lens can be adapted and used on digital mirrorless cameras too.

Overall the lens is in good and completely functional shape. The lenses are considering the age in fine condition, visible are some normal cleaning marks on the front element, nothing that will interfere the shooting process. The aperture blades are clean and the focus mechanism turns smoothly.
