平克・弗洛伊德 - P*U*L*S*E box Limited edition four remastered 180 grams records - 盒装 - 2018

Yes, you have all your Walls and Dark Sides and Animals and even Ummagumma. But this one you have not. Not many people do. It is the most sought-after special live-box with a whopping four 180 grams albums of the complete 1994-show. And you know what they played: Dark Side, in its entirety.

Pulse (or P*U*L*S*E) is the third live recording the Floyd released themselves (bootlegs a-plenty...). The second one, Delicate sound of thunder, was not quite the best. That was made of the first tour the three remaining Floyd-fellows played since the breakup with Roger. It was more of a statement: we are still here, a sign of life. Not so much delicate as well as desperate.

But within the nineties they had grown a lot. Roger was no longer missed, they had a lot of material of their own. The Floyd survived and thrived. Another world tour proved this. Having proven their own worth David finally looked back on the bands biggest accomplishment: Dark Side of the Moon. They played it, and recorded it! I guess it was the last time we saw Rick Wright play with them. Additional talent were Guy Pratt on bass, Tim Renwick on guitar and Jon Carin on keyboards.

You will remember the (2-)CD-version: with the crazy blinking light. It was also released as a four-disc vinyl box set. But as 1995 was heavily into cd’s (especcially Floyd-fans), hardly any were pressed. But come 2018 things were different and this set was (of course) updated, remastered and re-released.

Not just another box set. Each one has its own (hardbacked) sleeve and inner sheets. Also included: an 12” 52 page hardback book with exclusive pics and of course much info. The ones you will want to know now: yes, 180 grams. Remastered by Floyd-expert James Guthrie.

Musically: first two records are songs ranging from Astronomy Domine to Learning to fly. Then it is three sides of Dark Side of the Moon, in correct order. And side 8 are the encores. Yes: wish you were here, run like hell. And yesyes: comfortably numb. Complete tracklisting below.

The state of the box is obviously as new: still sealed even. No human hands have touched these records. Box and albums are pristine and will be lovingly wrapped.
