Ce type de cimier a été identifié comme une coiffure accompagnant les représentations d'une danse connue sous le nom de Nama Tyétyé.
Le motif en zig zag symbolise la trajectoire du soleil autour de la terre.
Il est en bon état.
Un exemplaire similaire se trouve au MET ( voir dernière photo) .
