From 1937-40, he completed his artistic studies at the School of Fine Arts (professional wood sculpture) in Timisoara, from 1947-49 at the Derkovits Folk College and the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. Meanwhile, in 1946-47, he was a member of the Móricz Zsigmond Népi College and a student at the law university in Szeged. His artistic work was connected to the management of the fine arts department of the Folk Culture Institute, as well as the task of artistic management of the Fine Arts Construction Company. He was a member of the Art Fund, as well as the Association of Professional and Industrial Artists and its medal department.
