1965: Studied under sculptor Shigeru Ogura, learning architectural sculpture and wood carving
1974: Joined the Japan Sculptors Association. Exhibited at a woodcarving exhibition
1978: Started woodblock printing
1983: Held solo exhibitions around Japan (Tokyo, Okinawa, Chiba, Aomori, etc.)
1992-1995: Invited by the Wisconsin Agency for Cultural Affairs three times
